Howdy!
I'm Genevieve (or Gen if you're lazy) a freelance producer, production manager and post-supervisor based in Brisbane, Australia.
I'm also the co-founder of award-winning production company Stranger Films.
I'm a cheerleader for creatives, championing their ideas, moving heaven and earth or numbers on a page.
The Tea 🍵
Unafraid of big ideas and bigger to-do lists, Genevieve is an advocate for and supporter of great creatives. Often called “set mum”, Genevieve is organised, self-motivated and always has snacks on hand. She is able to co-ordinate all aspects of production to create a seamless experience for crew to thrive and have space for creativity.
Genevieve studied a Bachelor of Film, Television and New media Production at the Queensland University of Technology and completed producing courses through AFTRS, Screen Queensland and Screen Producers Australia. Genevieve along with director Tony Walsh co-founded the award winning production company, Stranger Films, as a platform to tell thought-provoking and brave on-screen stories that makes your hearts sing, your eyes well and your cheeks hurt.
She has produced campaigns for Coca Cola, Lululemon, Colonial Beer Co., Vush, Dolphins NRL, The Wallabies and Ash Barty x Rado. Genevieve has a passion for telling fun and cathartic stories, whether that's across TVCs, documentary or narrative.
Genevieve is swift problem solver, able to lean on her connections, resources and ingenuity. An invaluable member of every crew, she is able to join any creative team to communicate, co-ordinate and manage client expectations.
Genevieve is the glue that keeps productions together.
